The Marriage & Relationship Education Center presents the Roaring 20’s Garden Party and Croquet Tournament, the area’s premier date night event of the summer, on Saturday, June 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the historic Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 S. Center Street, Westminster, MD.
Garden Party tickets cost $65 per person or $120 per couple and includes an elegant, old-fashioned picnic with Hors d’oeuvres and a catered dinner. Attendees will be serenaded by a barbershop quartet, and swing to live jazz music. There will be lawn games and antique cars, a snowball bar and a fabulous silent auction.
A team fee of $500 per team (of four players) will include all of the above plus a spot in our single elimination, non-regulation croquet tournament. The rules will be provided in advance. Each team will receive a photo and the top 2 teams will receive prizes.
Step back in time with your feather boas, flapper dresses and gangster wear – because there’s going to be a best dressed couple contest as well! (But this is optional!)
All proceeds will benefit the work of MREC, the community’s trusted resource for strengthening marriages and families. A 501(C)3 nonprofit, MREC offers high-impact relationship programs and events focusing on three key areas: students, couples and families.
