The Smithsonian’s The Way We Worked traveling exhibit features stories, artifacts, and interactives related to how Americans have worked over time. Whether working from home, an office, on the land, or on the road, people of all races, genders, and ethnicities have contributed to our economy and culture.

“The Way We Worked” explores how work became a central element in American culture. It is offered in conjunction with two other exhibits on Carroll County Canneries and Carroll County’s Wormseed Industry at the Carroll County Farm Museum.

Exhibit Open May 26 thru July 14 only

Exhibit Hours
Noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday
Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Special Free Admission Days and Times

Please stop by and check out the Flags for Heroes presented by the Westminster Rotary Club. Military, first responders and other heroes are honored at this event by a sponsored flag. Please join the Museum on Monday, May 29 for the flag display outside the main administrative building.

The flag memorial can be visited from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, May 29. Additional flags will be on display at the Westminster Cemetery.
