A Stitch in Time Tea-CANCELLED @ Carroll County Farm Museum

Due to an abundance of caution regarding public health and safety due to COVID-19 we will be practicing social distancing and cancelling the 2020 A Stitch in Time teas that were scheduled for April 4 & 5. We will not be rescheduling this tea during this calendar year. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have already reserved seats for a tea you should have received an email/phone call from the event organizer regarding cancellation info/refunds/etc. If you have not been contacted or have additional questions/concerns please contact ccfarm@carrollcountymd.gov or 800-654-4645. Join us for a themed three-course tea in the cozy Victorian setting of the Carroll Tea Room. After tea, enjoy a guided tour through the Farmhouse by a costumed docent or other activities as noted.

Tea is an experience designed for children age 6 and older. Adults accompanying children must reserve their own seat. To reserve seats call 800-654-4645 (and ask for the Tea Room) or call 410-386-3890 (ask for Laura) or email lrogers@carrollcountymd.gov.

Private tea seatings will be offered for parties of 12-18. Reservations in advance are required.

LHC Camp & Farm Camp Early Bird Registration Due-REMOTE ONLY

We are STILL ACEPTING Farm Camp & Living Camp Registration. However, because the Museum has been closed until further notice all applications will have to be turned in remotely. They must mailed, emailed or scanned. No in person applications can be accepted at this time.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and the regulations put forth by Governor Hogan, the Farm Museum is closed indefinitely.

All events in April are cancelled.

We will update our website and Facebook as information becomes available with regard to events in May and June.

Registration forms for Farm Camp & Living History Camp are due at the Farm Museum by close of business on April 6. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Civil War School of the Soldier-CANCELLED @ Carroll County Farm Museum

We will not be rescheduling during this calendar year. But we hope to be back better than ever spring 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience. School of the Soldier-CANCELLED

April 25, 2020

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come learn what it was like to be a soldier in the Civil War. Open to boys and girls ages 10 to 15. Participants will be mustered in drill and then reenact a skirmish for their families and other Museum guests. Pre-registration required by April 6. $25 fee includes a commemorative t-shirt. *please note no real weapons are used. Unfortunately, our Living History Reenactment that was scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020 has been CANCELLED. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but public health and safety is of our utmost priority.

Living History Reenactment-CANCELLED

Grant Pushes Lee to the End:  Petersburg 1865

May 2, 2020

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 2

It is the spring of 1865 and the Civil War has reached a crucial point. General Ulysses S. Grant and the Union have caught General Robert E. Lee and the Confederates near Petersburg, Va. Both armies have dug extensive field fortifications around the city. The battle rages until Lee is trapped and forced to surrender at Appomattox Court House. After four long years, the war is over.

Food is available for purchase at the event.  General admission applies: $10 per family, $5 per adult, $4 per senior (60 & over).
